This Privacy Policy explains how PrivAdSpy collects, processes, stores and shares information when users access the PrivAdSpy website or use the PrivAdSpy Chrome extension.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or would like to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us at contact@privadspy.com.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
When a user creates an account, signs in or updates a profile, PrivAdSpy may collect:
Passwords are transmitted securely to PrivAdSpy through HTTPS. They are stored on PrivAdSpy servers in hashed form and are not stored locally in readable form by the Chrome extension.
After successful authentication, the extension stores a PrivAdSpy authentication token in Chrome storage. This token allows the user to remain signed in and access features associated with the user's PrivAdSpy account.
When a user explicitly activates an extension feature, PrivAdSpy may process:
PrivAdSpy does not continuously monitor or collect the user's general browsing history. Website URLs and content are processed only when required to provide a feature requested by the user.
A Meta or Facebook account is not required to use the main PrivAdSpy features. PrivAdSpy does not request, collect or store the user's Meta or Facebook username or password.
If a user is already signed in to Meta or Facebook and explicitly activates a feature that communicates with the Meta Ad Library, the extension may temporarily process technical session information made available by Meta, such as a temporary session token. This information is used only to perform the request selected by the user.
Meta session information is not stored on PrivAdSpy servers, is not sold, and is not used to access private messages, publish content or modify the user's Meta account.
The PrivAdSpy website and servers may automatically collect technical information necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, including:
When a user purchases a subscription or participates in the affiliate program, PrivAdSpy may process subscription status, transaction identifiers and a PayPal email address voluntarily provided by the user.
Payments are processed by the applicable payment provider. PrivAdSpy does not store complete payment-card numbers through the Chrome extension.
The PrivAdSpy website may use cookies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure accounts and provide requested services.
The Chrome extension uses Chrome storage to retain the PrivAdSpy authentication token and functional preferences needed to operate the extension.
PrivAdSpy processes information only for the following purposes:
PrivAdSpy does not use Chrome extension data for personalized advertising, interest-based advertising, retargeting or unrelated user profiling.
PrivAdSpy account information, subscription information and items voluntarily saved or tracked by a user may be stored on PrivAdSpy servers for as long as the account remains active or as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.
Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes rather than readable plain-text passwords.
The PrivAdSpy authentication token is stored using Chrome storage. Depending on the user's Chrome configuration, Chrome may synchronize this storage between browsers connected to the same Google account.
Temporary Meta session information, when available and required for a user-requested feature, is processed temporarily and is not retained on PrivAdSpy servers.
Technical and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
Following an account deletion request, certain information may remain temporarily in secured backups or when retention is required by law. It will not be used for other purposes.
PrivAdSpy may transmit or disclose information only in the following circumstances:
Third-party platforms process requests according to their own privacy policies and terms of service.
PrivAdSpy does not sell, rent or transfer personal or sensitive user data to data brokers, advertising networks or unrelated third parties.
The PrivAdSpy extension uses Chrome permissions, including storage, scripting and access to supported websites, only when necessary to provide its declared advertisement research, product research and store-analysis features.
The scripting permission is used to display the extension interface and to retrieve public advertisement, store or product information required for a feature explicitly activated by the user.
These permissions are not used to monitor unrelated browsing activity, read private communications or display personalized advertisements.
PrivAdSpy uses HTTPS to protect information during transmission and applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users may:
Privacy and deletion requests can be sent to contact@privadspy.com. We may need to verify the requester's identity before processing a request.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to PrivAdSpy, they may contact us at contact@privadspy.com to request its deletion.
PrivAdSpy's use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
User data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing features described in this Privacy Policy and in the Chrome Web Store listing.
We may update this Privacy Policy when PrivAdSpy's functionality, data practices or legal obligations change. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
